Each and everyone one of us has an innate desire to be known and loved. We want everyone who walks through our doors regardless of their background or what they’ve been through to know and feel His love. Jesus said people will know we are His disciples if we love one another.

But what does a growing relationship look like? Many people define spiritual maturity by church attendance, spiritual knowledge, or attending a series of classes. At Stone Ridge, we define spiritual maturity by relationships. If you’re going to be growing in a relationship with Jesus, then a person needs to be:
– Pursuing intimacy with God
– Community with insiders (people inside the church)
– Influence with outsiders (people outside the church)

Who We Are
Visiting a church service can be an unsettling experience. Whether you’re coming back to church or you’re trying it out for the first time, we know this is a big step for you.
When we relaunched in 2009, we knew Decorah didn’t need just another church. So we spent some time dreaming about the kind of church we would want to be part of.
Stone Ridge is a church for the unchurched (never been to church before) or dechurched (have attended church and decided not to go back). We want to create a place where people can ask questions about faith; – a creative experience where people can take a second look at God. Our Sunday morning services are created with the guest in mind, where you will experience an environment that is friendly, relaxed and passionate about seeking God and growing closer to Him in a real way.
